HHC Health & Home Care
Queens Office

Francine Keogh, RN
Supervisor of Nurses

Francine Keogh has been a Registered Professional Nurse for over twenty years. She has been an employee of HHC Health and Home Care since August, 2002, working in the Queens office.

Ms. Keogh works as a Community Health Nurse, providing home care to patients with diagnoses such as HIV/AIDS and psychiatric disorders. Working with this population poses many challenges both physically and emotionally, as these patients are often disenfranchised and lack the ability to seek appropriate medical care. Some do not have the strength to pursue on-going healthcare and lack the motivation needed to adhere to treatment.

This fragile population traditionally has difficulty in forming long-term relationships with health care professionals. Ms. Keogh has been able to develop on-going, trusting relationships with her patients. In doing so, her patients have begun to develop trust in themselves and others. Many of Ms. Keogh’s patients have begun to participate in their own healthcare regimes, a direct outcome of her dedication and hard work. Her nursing interventions and skills, coupled with her deep level of care and concern have contributed to decreased morbidity and mortality rates and have improved the quality of life for her patients.

We are grateful to have such a consummate professional to be part of our Home Care Team. Congratulations Francine!
