Elba Rapalo earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Hunter College in 1986. She started her career in the Surgical Unit at Lincoln Hospital. In 1988 she went to work at Morrisania Diagnostic & Treatment Center.

She has proven to be a very special nurse at Morrisania Diagnostic and Treatment Center. Ms. Rapalo, RN has been a committed and dedicated nurse for over sixteen years. She is always willing to do whatever it takes to provide quality care to the patients. She is a ray of sunshine for all her Obstetrical and gynecological patients with her bright smile and caring demeanor. She is adored and well respected by her peers and colleagues. She was instrumental in the Redesign project to expeite the flow of patient to be seen in less than sixty minutes, which have resulted increase in patient satisfaction.

Ms. Rapalo is an outstanding and reliable employee with an expression of commitment beyond the call of duty. Her work is delivered with ingenuity, energy and compassion. She is always looking to be supportive and helpful to others no matter the ethnicity or language barrier.
